Craftsman charm meets modern shaker style in the historic district of East Lake of the Isles. The second story of this turn of the century bungalow had been modified over the years resulting in unusable closet spaces, rambling hallways, and awkwardly sized bedrooms. The floorplan was redesigned to recapture a spare bedroom, long hallway and rarely used powder bath - transforming the space into a generous master suite with four-piece washroom.
All of the doors, hardware, and a good portion of the trim remains original to the house. The existing maple floors were patched, repaired, and spliced with salvaged boards of the same era when necessary.
